The Australian Labour Market Research (ALMR) Workshop is the annual conference of the Australian Society of Labour Economists. The workshop involves interactive feedback from expert discussants and is designed to disseminate high quality research on labour economics and labour relations. The main objective is to promote informed debate among economists and policy-makers about current issues facing the labour market. The timing of the 2017 ALMR Workshop is designed to dovetail with the Asian and Australasian Society of Labour Economics (AASLE) Inaugural Conference to be held in Canberra immediately after this workshop.
